Saturday July 7th found the Hootenanny 2012 Music and Custom Car Festival firing on twelve beer injected Southern California cylinders. Located in the picturesque Oak Valley Ranch Canyon of Orange County, the Hootenanny festival delivered the loud rock, custom autos, chilled drafts and fried munchies sought after by hip SoCal revelers.
Blessed by near perfect weather, attendees enjoyed a day’s worth of two stages, populated by exuberant rockers. Set changes were lightning quick throughout the day, with crowds glued to their spots in anticipation of the day’s headliners, Bay Area punk legends Rancid.
